Yes, it’s another In the Margins Open House!
This is an open, casual chat with no presentations or formal agenda. It is intended as an opportunity to say hello, have questions answered, or simply engage in friendly conversation with line-minded creatives. Come in at any time and stay for a few minutes or until the session is over.
If you’ve been considering editing, beta reading, or coaching services, or if you have questions you’ve been shy about asking, this is a great opportunity!
Register for the session that works best for you (or both!)
To accommodate different schedules and timezones, I’ve split the open house into a morning session from 10am to 11am EDT, and an afternoon session from 2pm to 3pm EDT.
Register for the time that works best for you (or come to both if you’re really down to hang out!) and you’ll receive an email with the link to join on June 17.
Code of Conduct / Virtual Meeting Etiquette
- Be Kind & Respectful. While this shouldn’t need to be stated, it’s being stated. Any dominating of the conversation, bullying, harassment, or other disrespectful behavior will result in being booted from the open house and blacklisted by In the Margins.
- No self-promotion. In the Margins is hosting this open house to create connections with writers, fellow editors, and other publishing professionals. This is not a forum for your own self-promotion.
- Mute yourself when you’re not speaking. This helps limit the distractions when others are speaking or asking questions.
